Anybody else pick these up? I got the "Tales of Terror" and "Fright Night"
sets, each one containing 10 horror movies on 5 double sided DVD's. These can
be found for as low as $14.99 - one HELL of a deal no matter how you look at
it. They also have a few other 10-DVD sets as well I noticed, anybody have any
comments on these? Details about these sets can be seen at www.bcieclipse.com -
I notice they have a 10-movie "monster" set as well but it doesn't list the
film titles on the site, anybody have any info on this?

Thanks.

I haven't bought any of these since I already have a good chunk of the
movies contained on each disc. I'm sure the "monster"
movie boxset contains old Roger Corman monster flicks and public domain
creature features (like Snowbeast, Creature, and Track of the Moonbeast).
Still you're right, it is a decent deal.

Sad to say, but the Brentwood as well as Diamond look like old pre-recorded
videos burned onto a DVDr. Also, they have the annoying habit of putting DVD
title, artwork and whatever credits roughly about twenty minutes before film
ends. How pretentious!

The Brentwood sets are cheap but the prints they use usually
look terrible and are often the edited versions. They have
a few titles worth watching but I would rather see a proper
release.

Whatever they are, they'll be piss-poor quality bootlegs, so why bother?
